Buying a property

Buying a property is one of the most exciting things a person can do but is also a nerve-wracking experience for many. A key contributor is that a property purchase is the most expensive buy for most, where fear of getting it wrong causes stress. Buyers also know that making a mistake can potentially be very expensive.

Generally, buyers are sure about aspects such as location, market value etc. However, the condition of the property is an unknown factor for most. Being able to identify cosmetic issues and relying on a declaration from the seller is not enough. One of the worst experiences anyone can have is having to contend with defects post-purchase. Suddenly what seemed to be a dream property is now a nightmare, and regret kicks in. All of this is avoidable by investing in a comprehensive pre-purchase or pre-sale inspection carried out by a reputable and professional inspector.

A (property) purchase transaction, which is closed out with all concerns addressed before final signoff (including the property condition), makes those involved in the sale feel good about the process. They walk away with a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction, which is how it should be.
