Building Progress Inspections

DESCRIPTION

A new property build or renovations to an existing property is costly and can become even more so if the execution is poor. The process from beginning to end is often emotionally draining and compounded if not familiar with the construction practice or the construction company is substandard or hard to work with.

To help alleviate unnecessary spending and contending with the construction process and contractor, we advise employing the services of a reputable, independent and professional property inspector to conduct Build Progress Inspections. The inspector will inspect the various phases of construction, ensuring delivery standards are high and as per plan, and that the builder corrects problems identified before moving to the next construction phase. Reputable contractors generally have no issue working with an independent property inspector, but if the contractor objects, this should be considered a red flag by the client.

BENEFITS

Some of the benefits of using a property inspector for the build or renovation process include:

  • Not having to contend with the frustration and stresses often accompanying new builds or property renovations.
  • Alleviating unnecessary expenditure.
  • Seamless progression of the construction activities.
  • Ensuring the completed project is done to the highest standard.

* However, the right inspector is needed to achieve this result.
