Liability

- No warranty or guarantee is provided regarding the property’s condition.
- Clients are encouraged to seek specialist evaluations where recommended.
Third-Party Involvement
- WHJ Inspections is not responsible for the actions or qualifications of third parties.
- Referrals to specialists are made in good faith; follow-up is the client’s responsibility.
Client Responsibilities
- Clients must provide accurate information and grant access to the property for inspections.
- Appliance testing is excluded. Clients remain responsible for verifying appliance functionality and compliance.
- Clients are responsible for addressing maintenance issues or repairs noted in the report.
- Payment for services must be made in accordance with agreed terms.
Payment Terms
- Payment is required immediately after the physical inspection and must be received before the report is released.
- Late or non-payment may delay delivery of the inspection report.
Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes must be submitted in writing within 7 days of receiving the report.
- WHJ Inspections will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes promptly and fairly.
Confidentiality
- Client information, including property details and personal data, is treated as confidential.
- Reports will not be shared with third parties without client consent, except as required by law.
- WHJ Inspections complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and aligns with the principles outlined in our Privacy Policy.
Retention of Records
- Inspection reports and related data are retained only as long as necessary to fulfil service obligations or as required by law.
- Retention periods may vary depending on legal obligations (e.g., tax records vs. inspection reports).
- Clients may request deletion of records once legal obligations have expired.
