Property Condition Declaration

Whilst every property sale requires a declaration of the property condition from the sellers, the information shared may not be a true reflection of the state of the property. Often, this is not because the sellers are dishonest, but rather because they do not have the technical expertise to identify and report all issues accurately as a professional property inspector would.

Buyers should also note that the seller’s declaration form does not cover all aspects of the property like a professional (comprehensive) inspection does. For these reasons, and because it can potentially save buyers a great deal of money and heartache, it is highly recommended to source the services of an independent (expert) property inspector.
